Built by a school BCBA
for school staff.
ABATeacher was created by Amanda Broadway after years of watching great TAs and EAs struggle with RBT training designed for clinics, not classrooms.
Amanda Broadway, BCBA, PhD
Amanda has spent over two decades working directly in schools, as a teacher and BCBA. She's worked with both public and independent schools across Canada and the US, and has trained hundreds of education paraprofessionals.
She knows what TAs and EAs actually face in classrooms โ the schedules, the routines, the realities of working with students with complex needs in a school environment. That's why every ABATeacher course is built around school-based scenarios, not clinic scripts.
The Gap We Fill
Built for schools, not clinics
Most RBT courses use clinic-based examples. ABATeacher uses real school scenarios โ classroom schedules, IEP goals, lunch duty, playground behavior, and hall transitions.
Live instructor, not a video
You get direct access to Amanda for 2 months after the course. Ask questions specific to your student, your school, your situation โ and get real answers.
Canada-specific content included
PIPA and FIPPA confidentiality, provincial credentialing differences, and Canadian school system context are woven throughout โ not added as an afterthought.
Made for EAs and TAs
You're not being trained to be an independent practitioner โ you're being trained to be an effective member of a school team. That's a different skill set, and it deserves a different course.
