Amanda has spent over two decades working directly in schools, as a teacher, and BCBA. She's worked with both public and independent schools and has trained hundreds of education paraprofessionals. Education Assistants (EAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), Special Education Assistants (SEAs), paraprofessionals, and anyone pursuing RBT certification who works — or wants to work — in a school setting. This course is designed for school staff specifically, not clinic-based trainees.
In Ontario in July 2024, The BACB was replaced by the CPBAO who governs behavior professionals. However, this course is still valuable for Ontario-based education professionals for professional development. Please check with your provincial body regarding certification requirements.
Most RBT courses are built for clinic settings. Ours is built specifically for school environments — every example, scenario, and role-play happens in a classroom. You also get live instructor access for 2 months after the course, and Canada-specific content (PIPA/FIPPA) included.
You get 6 months of full access to all Thinkific course materials, including recorded sessions, downloads, and the community forum.
All live sessions are recorded and posted to Thinkific within 24 hours. You can watch asynchronously and still ask questions via the community forum.
No course can guarantee exam passage, but our exam prep module, mock review sessions, and competency prep are designed to set you up for success. Passing also depends on your study habits and practice.
